Has it been nearly two weeks already since my first post? It’s amazing how easy it is for me to not notice the passage of time.

I have made no progress with anything related to writing, the art of writing, or even thinking about writing since my last post.

I do have an actual government, corporate job with long hours, so most weekdays there is little time, or mental clarity, to focus on one of the many stories I need to write.

In reality, I’m bad at forming habits. Just terrible. And I have zero perseverance and determination. The motivation is there, but not the discipline. I know the only way to progress is to build a habit. Make it a routine. If I can do Duolingo for the last 102 days, my streak as of today, then I can find 15 minutes several days a week to write, revise, edit, or work on the business side of writing. Because, I do, technically, have a sole proprietor publishing business registered. Which is something I registered because past research said IngramSparks required a Tax ID number to register, and guess what? You no longer even need that.

Anyway, instead of writing this entry, I will (try) to spend the next ten minutes writing.
